Family Estate since 1960

The 60s — The Roots of Passion

In the early 1960s, Paul Robineau planted one hectare of vines. After his working days, he passionately dedicated himself to viticulture and the winemaking of his first wines.

CUVÉE PAUL — A FAMILY TRIBUTE

In memory of Paul Robineau, the founder of the estate, we created the Cuvée Paul, a Coteaux du Layon that reflects his vision: exceptional wines from our finest Chenin parcels.

1970 — A Full-Time Winemaker

Convinced by his love for the terroir, Paul decided to dedicate himself entirely to his vineyard. He purchased 5 additional hectares, bringing the estate to 6 hectares.

1984 — A Significant Transition

January 1, 1984, marked a turning point: Louis, Paul's son, joined the family business and took over 7 hectares of vines. Unfortunately, in July 1984, Paul suffered a severe fall that seriously injured him. Greatly weakened by this accident, he was never able to return to work in the vineyard.

1992 — A New Generation at the Helm

Louis and his wife Christine officially took over the family business. They seized the opportunity to acquire 3 additional hectares, thereby strengthening the estate.

1998–2002 — Modernization and Ambition

In the late 90s, the cellar became too small and was divided into several buildings, squeezed between the houses in the village. With the ambition to produce our own sparkling wines, we decided to build a new modern cellar. This infrastructure was completed in two phases: the winemaking area in 1998, followed by bottle storage and offices in 2002.

2004 — Vineyard Expansion

The acquisition of 2 hectares brought the estate to 18 hectares.

2012 — The Exceptional Terroirs of Anjou Noir

We acquired 2 hectares of exceptional terroir where we now produce our Coteaux du Layon Vieilles Vignes. These magnificent Chenin parcels rest on schist soils typical of Anjou Noir.

2025 — The Return of Yohan, Third Generation

After 12 years spent in a neighboring vineyard, Yohan returns to the family estate to carry out his first vinifications. This generational transfer gives birth to the "Divergence" cuvée, born from a creative disagreement between two generations.
