What is the difference between Anjou and Coteaux du Layon? Anjou refers to the dry or off-dry wines of the region. Coteaux du Layon is a specific appellation for sweet white wines made exclusively from the Chenin Blanc grape, produced on the slopes of the Layon Valley.
